I made the following up from notes
that came with V Hallam's S4. It's short due to the small knee-pad I use. Any
comments/amendments you send will be incorporated if possible.

Checks.
ENGINE: Ign.OFF; Fuel Content. Plug Caps secure; G’box leaks/secure;
Propeller+rock&check bearing;
Throttle & Choke cables OK & full mvt; Cooling Fan turns; Exh.cracks, secure, springs. Fuel Water check; Air Filter, Carb, Fuel Pump secure; Fuel Hose joints/chafing. Cowling all secure.
AIRFRAME: Wing inc.inside&Struts, Keel, Main Bulkhead, pins, bolts, wear, bent; U/C&Tyres3& Bungee OK; Brakes secure; Ailerons & Flaps, ribs & hinges, Teleflex play; Trailing Spar straight; Tail hinges & cables; Fuel Taps ON; Stick full/free, Pitot.
STARTING: Chock, Fuel quantity, Bulb hard; Full fwd Choke; Close Throttle & 2 pulls, Choke OFF; Ignition ON & Pull; Slowly inc.to 3,000 & warm up CHT180-220C; Idle 2,000. PRE TAKE-OFF. Rev’s Constant; Full Brakes, Stick back, Full Power, reduce to 5,300; Fuel ON & sufficient; Trim, Flap, Freedom of Controls; Gauges Engine(180/220C) & Flight-set Alt; Visual check Eng.& Exh. For excess vibration; Hatches & Harness.
